• Free Grade Level Shirt: Every Hunt student receives a grade level shirt in October, courtesy of the PTA. To ensure your student receives the correct size, Create/Update your Membership Toolkit (MTK) account on HuntPTA.org and update your student's shirt size by Sept 1st. Without your input, we'll have to guess - and there's no guarantee it will fit. See our FAQ for more info.

• Your volunteer status expires every July!  Submit your volunteer application/background check in order to volunteer on campus in any capacity: https://plano.voly.org/

• Volunteer Opportunities: No matter if you can give 15 minutes or a full day, your time as a volunteer makes a lasting difference for our students, staff, and school!

  • Kinder Lunch Helper (30 minutes)
  • Kinder Workroom Helper (1 hour)
  • 1st Grade Workroom Helper (1-2 hours)
  • 1st Grade Hound Depot (2 hours)
  • 2nd Grade Workroom (1 hour)
  • 2nd Grade Mystery Reader's Theater (1 hour)
  • WatchDOGS Dad (15 minutes, half day, full day options)

• Preorder Fall Spirit Wear by THIS SATURDAY, August 22nd for delivery by August 29th!

• Join the PTA - We need 79 more members by August 31st to reach the Head Start Award goal!  No meetings, no required volunteering, and no further commitments when you become a member. If you’d like to volunteer, you choose when and how. By simply joining the PTA, you are advocating for all children of Hunt Elementary. Your dues help fund programs and events for our Hunt community!

Don't want to scan receipts, buy spirit wear, or attend a restaurant spirit night?  We’ve got the perfect solution — our Fuss-Free Fundraiser! Donate once, and earn the magical right to completely ignore all future pleas for funds this fall! 

✅ See that sticker on your kid reminding you to attend Spirit Night? Toss it in the trash guilt-free.
✅ Spot an adorable stuffed doggy at our Spirit Wear booth? Cover your kid's eyes and walk on by.
✅ A PTA member asks if you've scanned your receipts for Box Tops? Proudly declare, “I already donated to the Fuss Free Fundraiser!” (and feel awesome about it).

Can you help us reach our goal of $8,000 (~$20/student)? 

If we can reach our goal by by August 31st, Crave Popcorn will throw a popcorn party for the WHOLE SCHOOL! 

• Grade Level Information Nights - These have moved to in-person! Please see more info here or on our PTA Calendar. Look for our PTA table to purchase your PTA membership, pre-order spirit wear, or ask questions about Hunt! 

• Slide Back Family Party - Fri, August 22, 5:00-6:30PM - Join us for a PTA-sponsored Family Fun Night featuring a giant water slide, foam machine, obstacle course and snow cones as we splash and slide back to school! This is for the whole Hunt fam, so bring your entire squad and let's party!

• PTA General Meeting - Tues, August 26, 2:00PM, Hunt Library - Join us for our first PTA General Meeting in the Hunt Library right before student dismissal! Learn about what we've done so far and our plans for this year! 

• Hop, Pop, & Walk to School Day - Fri, September 19, 7:15AM - Hunt PTA is teaming up with the school’s Walk to School Day to make it extra fun - with bubbles and sidewalk games! We’ll be chalking the paths with hopscotch and doodles, filling the air with bubbles, and creating a joyful walk to school together. Bring your bubbles (and a few to share with friends!) and let’s turn the walk into a bubble-filled parade! Stay tuned for more information on where to meet for Walk to School Day!
