FAQ:
Grade Level Shirts
Does creating an account on HuntPTA.org mean I am a PTA member?
- No, creating an account simply gives you easy access to ordering products offered by the PTA like Hunt Spirit Wear, Holly Grams, Friendship Grams, Yearbook Ads and more. It’s also where you’ll be signing up for volunteer opportunities like Classroom Parties, Workroom Helper, Book Fair, and Field Day. Having an account allows you to track your order history and volunteer history in an easy-to-access place!
- We like to think of our Hunt families using 2 platforms for all of their Hunt needs - Skyward App for all things school, and HuntPTA.org (Membership Toolkit) for all things PTA.
- Creating an account and updating your Family Information and Student Shirt Size does ensure that your student will receive the correct shirt size for their Grade Level Shirt!
What is a Grade Level Shirt?
- Each year, the Hunt PTA provides FREE shirts to all Hunt students and staff, with delivery usually in October after all t-shirt sizes have been collected. These shirts coordinate with the Grade Level Colors and will be worn during Field Trips (for easy identification), Field Day, Assemblies, and Spirit Day Fridays.

When can I buy Hunt Spirit Wear?
- Stay tuned for new designs in our Spirit Wear store coming soon after Meet the Teacher (Friday, August 8, 2025). We will be selling spirit wear in person during Meet the Teacher right outside the library! Pick up your spirit wear while supplies last. After Meet the Teacher, we will post any unsold merchandise online to purchase for delivery to your student. We will also take pre-orders for the next batch of merch - stay tuned for the sales form to show up in your "To-Do/Forms/Shop PTA" link!
Photo Sharing
The PTA maintains Private Facebook Groups for all 6 Grade Levels to share information and create community within the grade levels. Below are the rules for sharing photos of student in our Grade Level Facebook Groups:
Can I post photos of my child in the Facebook Group?
- Absolutely! As long as the photo is only of your child (may include Hunt staff and consenting adults), you may share that photo in our Facebook Group.
Will photos shared on social media be included in the Yearbook?
- No! Only photos uploaded into our private online portal will be considered for yearbook consideration.
Can I post photos of my child with their best friend to the Facebook Group?
- If you have received permission from the parent of that friend, you may post the photo to our Facebook Group.
Can I take photos during my child's Classroom Party or if I'm chaperoning a Field Trip?
-
Parents/Guardians CANNOT take photos on campus EXCEPT for the purpose of Yearbook. If you take photos during Classroom Parties, you must state that this is for the Yearbook before taking the photo, and then submit the photos to our private upload portal.
-
This is the guideline for the PTA from PISD: "When taking photographs of PTA events occurring on school grounds during school hours, non-staff PTA members shall refrain from photographing students and shall not publish any student names or photos. The one exception would be to take photographs for the yearbook."
There's so much happening, how do I stay up-to-date with what's going on at the school?
- Follow our school Librarian, Ms. Hamilton's e-news, "Hunt Herald", sent every Tuesday and Thursday via your email associated with your student registration/enrollment in Skyward.
