2nd Grade - Mystery Reader

Event Details:
  • Frequency: Once a month from 10:30 AM – 11:15 AM
  • Who Can Join: Moms, dads, grandparents, or any family member! Students love being surprised by a special guest.
  • Lunch Opportunity: After volunteering, you are welcome to stay and enjoy lunch with your child!
What to Expect: You will read a character part from a simple script with a small group of students and then perform it in front of the class. Students practice reading this script throughout the week, making this a wonderful and engaging way to build reading fluency, comprehension, and good audience behavior.
 
Important Note: When you sign up for a date, please make sure you have completed your volunteer background check through VOLY.
